Talk by Fiorenzo Silvestri

The talk explores the history of Fiorenzo Silvestri's collection of works on paper and the development of illustration art in Europe during the early twentieth century. It will be followed by a guided tour of the exhibition with the exceptional participation of Fiorenzo Silvestri and curator Monica Masin.

Modernity in Dialogue: The Works of the Young Artists of Ca' Pesaro
The talk explores the wide-ranging and diverse influence of the Central European Secessions and Gustav Klimt's work on early twentieth-century Venetian art, with particular focus on the artistic development of the young artists active at Ca' Pesaro within the Opera Bevilacqua La Masa. It will be followed by an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition with the participation of collector Fiorenzo Silvestri and the curator of the entire project, Dr. Monica Masin.
